Ms. Cropp has made a career of litigating insurance disputes.  Her work includes under and uninsured motorists claims, insurance coverage disputes, insurance claim evaluations, and “bad faith” insurance litigation.

Ms. Cropp has served as an advisor to several major insurance companies, as well as counsel to individuals and corporations involved in disputes with insurers.  She has conducted and participated in numerous insurance seminars.  In connection with her insurance work, Ms. Cropp represents clients in cases involving personal injuries, premises liability, products liability, wrongful death, deliberate intent, and wrongful termination.

Ms. Cropp received her Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University where she double-majored in English and Political Science and minored in American Studies.  Ms. Cropp received her Juris Doctorate in 1999 from the West Virginia University College of Law.  While in law school, Ms. Cropp was a member of the Moot Court Board and the Lugar Trial Association. 

Ms. Cropp was awarded the Best Brief Award in the 1999 Rabbi Seymour Siegel Memorial Moot Court Competition at Duke University, which competition focused on medical and legal ethics.  Ms. Cropp was awarded the Best Brief Award in the 1998 Baker Cup Moot Court Competition at West Virginia University.  Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Cropp was inducted into the Order of the Barristers.

Ms. Cropp is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, the Harrison County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia. Ms. Cropp has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the West Virginia University College of Law, teaching Appellate Advocacy.

 

Ms. Cropp has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America publication as a top attorney in the field of Insurance Law for 2010.
