COMMUNITY
SERVICE

Cooper Law Offices firmly believes in giving back to the community it serves. In addition to promoting morality in the legal profession, our attorneys and staff extend the commitment of citizenship with their sponsorship of community groups, donations of time and money to area causes, and with active involvement in many organizations in the region.

Among the firm’s projects is its effort to educate students aged 10 to 17 about the risks presented with online activities. Jami Cooper, together with a colleague, speaks to small groups of students and their parents about social media and other online communications, risky conduct that students engage in online, measures that can be used to allow students to protect themselves in their online activities. The age-appropriate discussions address difficult subjects like predatory behaviors, sexting, revenge porn, cyber-bullying and consequences of risky online behaviors.

Some of the organizations that the firm has supported with time, talents, and/or financial assistance include:

  • Local public and private schools
  • Harrison County Young Life
  • The GFWC Woman’s Club of Bridgeport
