Dan and Jami Cooper are highly respected lawyers who, before starting Cooper Law Offices, worked for a large firm with a practice focus on insurance and personal injury litigation. They have a skilled and dedicated team of paralegals and administration that support their clients’ needs.
Cooper Law Offices focuses on personal injury, insurance disputes, commercial litigation, professional liability and construction law. The firm handles many different litigation matters.
The lawyers at our firm practice at the administrative level and in all state and federal courts within the state of West Virginia. The firm started June 1, 2007.

DANIEL C. COOPER

Daniel (“Dan”) Cooper has been a practicing lawyer since 1990. Dan has spent his career as a litigator, representing both businesses and individuals in various types of cases including personal injury and wrongful death cases, automobile and trucking accidents, products liability, premises liability, professional negligence and malpractice, insurance coverage and insurance bad faith. Dan is a trial lawyer, having tried numerous cases in state and federal court. Dan has also represented clients on appeals before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia and the federal Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Dan’s practice is served well by his energetic and thoughtful approach to legal issues, his ability to provide clients with a candid and honest assessment of their legal concerns, and his zealous advocacy.
JAMISON H. COOPER

Jamison (“Jami”) Cooper has a practice that focuses on pre-litigation and litigation matters. The particular fields in which she practices have included commercial disputes, insurance coverage, construction, contracts, personal injury and wrongful death, condemnation and eminent domain, premises liability, consumer products and “lemon law” issues, insurance bad faith and professional liability. In addition to her practice before the state and federal courts, she handles matters on an administrative or regulatory front, including matters pending before the West Virginia Insurance Commissioner and professional disciplinary matters before various boards and commissions, including the West Virginia nursing boards and the Office of Disciplinary Counsel.
